These are the tools I've found myself coming back to consistently.

1. Gemini or ChatGPT:
I used to be a huge Claude fan, but lately I barely use it. The free version has become too limiting for the kind of faceless YouTube content I create.

Right now, Gemini and ChatGPT do almost everything I need—from research and scripting to brainstorming ideas and writing SEO-friendly descriptions.

2. Speechma, Google AI Studio and ClipChamp:
For voiceovers, this is my go-to tools.

Speechma was one of my favourites, although the free plan seems inactive for now.
Google AI Studio has surprisingly good voices. It can lag a bit on mobile, but I found a simple workaround that makes it much smoother.
Clipchamp is another great option, but using it on a phone can be frustrating since it's clearly designed with desktop users in mind. If you're patient, though, it gets the job done.

3. Gemini Nano Banana 2:
This is what I currently use to generate most of my images.
There are plenty of alternatives like Flow, Microsoft Designer, and others, but Nano Banana is the fastest workflow for me because I can automate the image generation directly from my phone.

4. CapCut:
Still my favourite editing app on mobile. It's Free , simple, fast, and does everything I need without making editing feel overwhelming.

5. ChatGPT + Canva
I use ChatGPT to help with YouTube titles, descriptions, and SEO ideas.
I'm also adding Canva to my workflow for thumbnails because I want to spend more time creating thumbnails that actually get clicks not just ones that look nice.

These are the tools helping me build my faceless YouTube channel while serving as an NYSC corper.

They may not be the "best" tools on the internet, but they work for me perfectly.
