Welcome to the Mind Palace is a concept animated series about a guy whose personality traits are "personified" as little people in his head. The Mind Palace itself includes everything from memories to life hacks to random stuff that happens. His "Sides" take on adventures of their own in His head, as he tries to go about his daily life.

This was a fun shot because I got to use my chibi model, as well as inking out the company's logo on the cardboard box. Simple shot but very effective!

This shot was a fun one to figure out, not only because of the perspective, but also creating a glass "ripple' effect in the final animation. Really happy with how it turned out in the final shot.

Fun fact, the glasses ended up becoming much easier to draw thanks to CSP's 3d model feature. Now my characters' glasses will be easier to draw in perspective.

Behold, the post that caused a lot of people to think my stuff was A*I*, and then me showing the rotoscope footage caused people to try to accuse me of not "filming reference footage properly". Lol, can't please everyone...

Overall, I really enjoyed using the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 V2 to create this animation, even now since it's been a few months since this animation came out.
Will I get sent more animation tablets? Probably (I've been sent at least 1-2 since scheduling this post back in December). But I'm 100% loving creating review videos and animations, and I hope that you all enjoy following along on this journey ^_^

Idk what it is about Dreamer, but I really enjoy drawing them.
Also, this was another one of those masking shots, where I had to mask out part of the elbow and the bottom of the character in order to layer it with the table bg element.

Close-up shots are not my favorite thing in the world to draw because you have to make sure that the proportions match up everywhere, even when most of the character is cut off from the camera view.
I actually went around this by taking an existing shot of her facing the exact same angle, and then zooming in so that her face was the right size, then I used that as a reference.
Work smarter, not harder, folks! ^^

This is another one of those shots that required me to film IRL footage in order to rotoscope the motion. Thankfully there wasn't too much motion as it was just the thumb moving. That, and I was able to accurately trace the tablet for multiple shots because I have it in front of me.
Overall, one of the biggest things I learned doing this particular shot is just how much I missed doing more detailed shots, as I was able to put a bit more detail into the tablet to make it seem more 3D and reflective, especially on the edges of the buttons and the edges of the screen. ^^
