Circa 2006 when I was a nursing assistant. The experience I gained working as a certified nursing assistant made me the nurse that I am today.

I worked with some of the best nurses and CNAs. If you’re a CNA thinking about going to nursing school or enrolled in nursing school, just remember I was once in your shoes. #nursing

This was the first ICU team I belonged to at our after work Christmas celebration, Dec 2015. I was a staff nurse on the unit for almost 7 years.

I learned a lot and will be forever indebted to my former coworkers, attending physicians, resident physicians and support staff for making this work experience valuable and memorable. #nurse #icunurse #nursing

I am the nurse that I am because of the great teachers that took pride in training me.

Nurse Nahid aka Mother Nightingale was one of the nurses tasked with training me as a new graduate nurse 14 years ago. You want to talk about excellency in nursing, it’s nurses like Nahid who deserves to be mentioned.

There are so many others who contributed to my nursing career and molding me into the nurse I am today. I am forever indebted to Nahid and the others who I will talk about in an upcoming video.

My beautiful homeland, specifically the two sister islands of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique have been devastated by Hurricane Beryl.

Majority of the homes and other buildings have been destroyed beyond repair. The government and people of Grenada is in need if assistance.

I am currently doing research to find the best way to assist. In the meantime, the flyer below comes directly from Grenada’s Prime Minster’s office.
