Hey guys, it's been a while since I last posted a video. Here's the latest news:
I've started buying old radios and record players to repair! (Upcoming channel content)
I'm asking the advice of quite a few different people before I start making that type of content, not being too hasty/rushing myself.
My console stereo (the record player I make transfers on) needs its amplifier re-capped. You know that buzzing noise you hear while listening to my records? Yeah, that's capacitor hum (most likely). I'll see how long this takes me to get to. I've never re-capped any old electronics before.
So after enough messing around with different cables and turntables, I am slowly making progress and getting to the point where I can make a half-decent transfer. I'm getting some help from a friend or two to help with the audio/video editing process. I apologize for the complete radio silence around here for the past 5 months.
