๐๏ธ All mountain roads are open this morning, but you should be prepared for difficult driving conditions. If you are not a confident driver, you may wish to use alternative routes.
๐ If you are using the mountain roads, please be aware there are few abandoned vehicles on the side of the highway awaiting collection by their owners. Where needed, traffic management will be in place to facilitate this.
โ ๏ธ Please use caution if using these routes by giving yourself more time to travel, leaving further distance between you and others, and driving slower than you normally would.
๐ A huge thank you to our crews and contractors who were working overnight to reopen the mountain roads and gritting across Rhondda Cynon Taf. Although lots of areas didnโt experience snow, our mountain roads are extremely high which means they receive more extreme weather. We recognise their vital role in keeping our communities connected to their families and jobs, which is why we always try to keep any closures as short as possible.
