Greetings and welcome to EIS Alaska.
We are an Alaskan commercial fishing family, harvesting a variety of fish off the rugged coast of Kodiak Island. Our channel is about our experiences as commercial fishermen, island life, and the challenges and work that go into running a small fishing vessel.
Join us as we participate in different fisheries, tackle vessel maintenance and upgrades, and explore the beauty and rich history of Kodiak and the commercial fishing industry.
If you are interested in the highest quality seafood available, consider purchasing seafood directly from us at Emerald Isle Seafoods. We offer a great selection of halibut, rockfish, salmon, and cod. Harvested by us, with care and 100% transparency from harvest to distribution, we promise you the finest seafood Alaska can offer. Happy New Year, crew! Thank you for all your support last year. We are looking forward to a fun and prosperous 2026!
Of our many goals for this year, we are most excited to bring on more fun and exciting content.
With the amazing support of our channel members, patreons, and you, the viewers, we've been able to upgrade our film equipment. When it becomes available, we'll purchase the latest DJI Osmo Action 6. We've been using the DJI Mic mini and Action 5 throughout last year, and we are very pleased with the improved video and audio quality.
Soon, we'll start jigging for cod and rockfish as our fishing season kicks off! We are so excited to head out on the water with you all.
Thanks for all your comments, well wishes, and support! Wishing you all a happy, safe, and eventful 2026. Let's go fishing!

Hey crew, sorry we didn't end up streaming on Friday. Woke up at 2AM and were pressed for time on the 8AM morning delivery. We got 6 more halibut on our two sets! Came up with 40# above our minimum! Yaaay!
We'll be sure to do another livestream to close out the season. There's a pretty blustery Nor'wester, which always brings down the cold! So it looks like Monday when the temps come up again. We'll get the boats washed up and start winterizing them.
We're so thankful for all your support and have really enjoyed hanging out with you on the livestreams!
