Happy Constitution Day to my fellow countrymen and this country I love so much. Even more important than its beautiful fjords, mountains and forests, I cherish our democracy, freedom of speech and press, and our strong social institutions.
You also look beautiful in CK3, Norway. Which Paradox game is your favourite to play Norway in?
"The Emperor s*** himself when he received the news that the King of France had launched an invasion of Lorraine, a small, but notable border member of the Holy Roman Empire. Attempting to consolidate his power over the imperial crown, he knew he had no choice but to come to Lorraine's defences against the single mightiest military force in Europe, if for no other reason than to save his own authority."
CK2 proves its worth yet again - itβs a great game to play on a MacBook while travelling (lasted me like 3 hours on a charge with good performance) π π‘οΈ π
EUV WILL RECEIVE NEW START DATES IN THE FUTURE, Paradox just confirmed (even though it's likely a ways ahead)! Which would you want to see, and is it any of the ones below?
I know Imperator has an "automatic trade" option, but the problem is, it kinda sucks and always prioritizes food. What this game needs, and it should be very simple, is an auto trade selected trade good(s) to always attempt to provide a surplace in capital when possible. Much of the tedium of Imperator trade comes from always having to procure a new trade route manually for a good you rely on. An auto trade function for goods of your choosing (say, to always try to ensure a surplace of olives in the region, or any surplace number of your choosing), when an offer is available, would go a long way and be perhaps the single biggest quality of life addition imo. Same goes for exports, because you're receiving a lot of trade offers. Being able to simply say "export only when surplus is X" is so needed
My beautiful wife sent me this snap she took and captioned from 8 years ago of me playing Victoria 2 (France or Britain, I believe). I canβt stop laughing.

Absolutely gorgeous North Korean levels of approval for sealing the Golden Bull (also, playing in the HRE/as the Emperor is INFINITELY better now)

You may not like it. But this is actually peak Western Europe in 962 after the 867 start. I am not joking.
