Andy's Paradox

French experience so far is fun, this is 1490, truly holds a special place in my heart and a wonderful location in Europe with access to so many regions (Britain, Iberia, HRE, Italy, North Africa later on), but you really are a dominant force unlike any other (perhaps Bohemia is the exception if you play as them). Gotta be a little careful in the beginning with coalitions, but the playthrough really needs more intrigue with the appanages, perhaps a unique system of integrating appanages separate from doing it the regular vassal annexation style (is quite tedious when you have to separately integrate like 30 vassals over the course of 1-200 years, even though it adds some challenge with relations etc), and arguably, making the HYW much more difficult, again perhaps through more appanage intrigue and challenges related to management and cooperation. What are your thoughts? Did you play as France yet?

Andy's Paradox

The Italian Wars might just be my favorite Situation in EUV thus far. I do think the required number of provinces to "win" it, 200, is a bit much. 150 would be more fitting I think, but perhaps I didn't focus enough on it to reach 200 in time. In addition, the situation should absolutely not end even if 50 years have passed IF there is a current ongoing war between members of the league, allowing for some flexibility. What do you think?

What is your SINGLE most HATED feature in EUV? For me, it has to be that it's nearly impossible to make back your sailors if you have damaged ships, and you don't have a surplus of like hundreds if not thousands of them. If you ever reach 0 and need more sailors for maintenance or ship repairs... good luck. Best to scrap what you have. GOD it makes me mad

Okay, nightmare scenario, you HAVE to pick one: you're a country with a cardinal who most vote on papal bulls, always clicking "yes" like you're in a casino (yes, *that* Twitter meme ) because it doesn't make sense to ever click no, OR you're in the HRE and must vote to constantly decentralize the empire because the emperor pushes the same vote to infinity and beyond. Which do you choose?

I can't be the only one truly missing CK2's stylistic and completely unique approach to UI design, right? I mean LOOK at that "council" art, stained glass?? Absolutely incredible. I'll take a stylized and themed UI over a streamlined "dark" or transparent-style UI any day

Is there anything better than wars that look like this? I live for map colours and shapes like these, man! So succulent, so soul-inspiring, so shapefully tasty.
