When it snows a little in the South, everything shuts down. So I tried making a keto friendly cottage cheese "cheesecake" with cottage cheese, 2 eggs, Greek yogurt, stevia & blueberries, plus a tiny bit of a graham cracker crust. Please support ‪@MyFathersAlibi‬ and the quest for justice for 1982 murder victim Nancy Galvani, by encouraging ‪@CourtTV‬ to cover the case. Patrick Galvani was arrested shortly before Thanksgiving 2025 for the murder of his estranged wife Nancy. He was arraigned last week in San Mateo court, and his bail hearing will be February 5th. Tomorrow is the arraignment hearing in San Mateo for Patrick Galvani, age 81 & charged with the 1982 murder of his wife Nancy, the mother of ‪@MyFathersAlibi‬​ . The hearing afaik will not be livestreamed but local news may be reporting on it.

The big trial I've been watching is that of Brendan Banfield in Fairfax, Virginia, for the murder of his wife Christine. They had a 4-year old daughter, and Christine worked odd hours as a nurse, so they hired a young au pair from Brazil. Brendan and the nanny Juliana started having an affair and concocted a bizarre scheme to kill off Christine by creating a fake fetish website profile for her, looking for a man to supposedly act out her rape fantasy. They planned to blame the man for stabbing Christine. Joe Ryan answered the ad and was killed inside the Banfield's house along with Christine. Juliana later cut a great deal by admitting she shot Joe Ryan and Brendan stabbed Christine to death. The trial is being livestreamed on ‪@CourtTV‬​ . It's in the courthouse I frequented years ago as an intern for the Fairfax County Public Defender's Office, supervised by Todd Petit, who is now a District Court judge. I also was there often when I worked in Tysons Corner, so I wish I could be there in person. Once again, it's a horrible case where selfish people were unable to divorce, share custody & move on with their lives.
