As a licensed, practicing attorney, my goal is to provide commentary & information on noteworthy legal & true crime cases, such as the 2014 murder of FSU law professor Dan Markel & DC lawyer Robert Wone's 2006 murder. Some content will be on the lighter side with comedy. This channel is dedicated in memory of George C. Lin, the founder of the DC APA Film Festival and president of the San Diego AA Film Festival, who encouraged me to continue making creative works as a form of empowerment. "Asian American Focus" was a public access television show produced through The Peoples Channel (Channel 8) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina from 2001-2008. Guests were notable local and out-of-town community leaders, artists, writers, and scholars with an "Asian American Focus." Thank you to Matthew Burke, the late director of the station, for allowing us to produce the show.

Slam dunk, great day in court. I got a frivolous lawsuit dismissed for my client! The case had allegations of fraud, abuse of process, unlawful eviction, & conversion. Too bad this lawsuit dragged on for over two years, but (hopefully) it's over. The judge was someone I sort of knew decades ago through the Academy of Trial Lawyers. Wonderful to see that Hoyt Tessener is now a Superior Court judge.

Brian Walshe has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Ana Walshe. Ana disappeared in early January 2023, and her body has not been found. No decision yet from Judge Sanchez-Llorens on the defendant Berkovich's Motion to Dismiss Harvey Adelson's lawsuit on behalf of Charlie. The civil case involves an apartment complex Charlie Adelson owns with his (former?) friend under a corporate name. The hearing was November 25th, & the lawyers probably submitted their proposed orders just last week. I will continue checking to see if a decision has been rendered.

One more thing to be thankful for today: Patrick Galvani, the father of @MyFathersAlibi Prof. Alison Galvani, was arrested on Monday for the 1982 murder of her mother Nancy. Alison has spoken on numerous youtube channels, including this one, about her memories of what happened & her tireless efforts to seek justice in this unresolved murder case. Pat Galvani is being held at the San Mateo jail, & his next court date is December 5th. Through his lawyer, he maintains his innocence. Thank you to all those who have supported Alison and wrote to the DA's office asking them to look into the cold case. An article about the case can be seen here:
