A couple of weeks ago we opened up the chance for members of our Patreon crew to join us onboard Happy Days as we transit the Panama Canal… and the response absolutely blew us away.

Thank you to everyone who entered and for all the kind messages along the way — it really reminded us how special this community is.

To keep things simple and transparent, we put all the eligible entries into a hat and drew the names on camera.

We’re so excited to welcome you all aboard for what will be a pretty unforgettable few days as we make our way through the canal together.

For those who entered but weren’t drawn this time — thank you so much for being part of this community and for supporting our journey. We genuinely wish we could bring everyone along.

The next step is getting ourselves to Panama. We expect to arrive toward the end of March, and once we’re in the country the canal authority will assign our transit date — which we expect will fall sometime mid April.

We’ll be sharing plenty of the experience along the way, so you’ll all still be part of the adventure with us.
