So you might have noticed something a little different around here. We gots a new name, channel art, everything. Why?
Reasons.
OK, I'll do you better than that. I've been trying to put a fork in exactly what we're going to be doing around here and I realized that no matter where I live, no matter what I do, there is but one constant ... I'm a damn contrary dude who likes to %#$^ on the rules.
You know, the rules that say don't do that it's unsafe. That voice that comes out of nowhere but sounds like an ex-coach or a hated ex-boss. Telling you the way THEY want you to behave. Those rules and that voice.
So we're going to fight them, you and I. No matter how small or absurd our quest, we deserve the right to test our own theories. Make our own mistakes. And that is why our new world here on YouTube looks a wee bit different.

Nikki does, and I think she's starting to convince me as well. Now disembodied spirits aren't the main topic of this video, but they're also no small part.
I suppose my first question thus should have been ... have you ever felt "at home" in a hotel or AirBnb? It's hard, isn't it? Someone else's house. Decorated their way. A kitchen unfilled with what you need?

I went for a walk today and discovered that you can walk outside of the old city walls, which was way cool. Of course, entry back into the city is limited ... so I also spent a lot of time on the outside of said walls. LOL!
Córdoba is a beautiful city, and I'm ecstatic that we found a place we could easily call home. Of course the search is far from over, but knowing that we have at least one great town takes a lot of stress away.
The old city walls are not complete, but enough remain to make for a great walk. There was (last photo) some steps down to the river which had been accumulating runoff mud for decades and made for a fun involuntary slide down (and an even more fun slog back up).

And no, the photos are not crooked because of the beer (check the label!).
I was out for a walk around Córdoba yesterday and strolled through the Mezquita de Córdoba, which for a thousand years was once a huge mosque ... now a catholic cathedral. And yes, they managed to keep both in the same place. It's oth unique and stunning.
