I started this channel as an outlet for my thoughts. And because I was sick of apologists spewing cheap talking points in their desperate and feeble attempts to "prove" their God. I am a former Pentecostal Christian from the “Bible Belt” who believed in Young Earth Creationism, speaking in tongues, prophecy, dream interpreting, healing, and a host of other crazy things. I was homeschooled all my life - never spent a day in public or private school. I was also an anti-vaxxer. As a child up to my late teens, I was completely terrified of going to Hell. I spent many sleepless nights wide awake thinking about eternal punishment, the apocalypse, the Mark of the Beast, and how all my nonbeliever friends (including my Christian friends who were in different denominations) were going to Hell/The Lake of Fire. This is one reason why I consider myself an anti-theist, because religious beliefs can cause harm.

YouTube has been lagging and running excruciatingly slow for me the past few days. Come to find out, it's because I use an adblocker on my Chrome browser. I disabled it and immediately YouTube runs fine again. After doing a bit of searching, it appears YouTube has purposely slowed down YouTube for anyone using adblock on Chrome. This is greedy and crappy. I get YouTube has to make money, but shoving ads into every video I click on, and repeating ads every few minutes on a video I'm watching - just isn't going to cut it. The fact that they put ads in some of my videos - that are not even monetized is also infuriating. YouTube makes BILLIONS of dollars; ungodly amounts of money - while they give a few scraps to their creators and make a few extra dollars from content creators who can't even monetize their channel.
So congratulations, YouTube! I've now deleted Chrome (owned by Google who also owns you) and switched to a different browser. And not only that, but Google has become such a dumpster fire of a search engine that I no longer use them either. I now use DuckDuckGo and others. If Google goes after other browsers, it'll make it so much easier to stop watching YouTube altogether.

I spent an ungodly amount a time for a five second clip in this video. At first I thought it'd be fun to add a few friends and acquaintances to it. So I added Jefferson Spatchcock, Bre, James Apperson, Speed, Niddy, BS Lewis, Stephanie Helms, Jimmy Tux, Amy Newman etc. But then I thought "I should probably add a few big YouTubers so the viewers will get the idea that it's a bunch of atheists." So then I added Derek Lambert from MythVision, Dr. Josh, Paulogia, Gnostic Informant, Shannon Q, Cosmic Skeptic, etc. I had to track down good pictures for every person, and find a way to squeeze them all into one frame (I work with cheep/free software because I'm not a professional lol). And to make things extra stressful, I had to stay the night away from home for a business trip (I only edit from home). But I was determined to have the vid uploaded before I left. And then it happened...I somehow forgot to save the clip!! I frantically tried to recreate it and didn't even realize I had left out MOST of these awesome people until just now. Sigh.
