Dream Con wasn’t just an event—it was an experience.

The conversations.
The collaborations.
The laughs.
The inspiration.
The community.

Being surrounded by so many Black creators, filmmakers, gamers, actors, artists, and visionaries reminded me that we’re building something much bigger than content.

We’re building culture.

I left with new relationships, new ideas, renewed motivation, and an even bigger vision for where Big Cam I Am Productions is headed.

Happy Father’s Day to my Daddy, Gerald Wiley Smith. I miss you big dog. You were hilarious and had the greatest voice of my lifetime. Thank you for showing me manly love. 🎬🎬 BIG NEWS Y’ALL!!! 🎬🎬

Today ya boi was featured in a Juneteenth special on FOX4 News Kansas City in a skit that I wrote, produced, and acted in called “How to Play Spades: 101” 🃏✊🏾🔥

This project was special because it allowed us to celebrate culture, community, and one of the most beloved games in Black households in a creative and entertaining way.

I’m incredibly proud of my cast:

🎭 Kimberly Newsom aka “Kimology”
🎭 Clarence Lomax III aka “The C In Comedy”

Y’all absolutely brought this thing to life!

Huge shoutout to our director, Autumn Holmes Tribitt, and to Corey Coppage Coppics Photography services LLC and Areiona King aka “AK” of Tied In Media for capturing the vision behind the camera. 🎥🔥

And a very special thank you to my producer at Fox 4, Kharissa Parker, for believing in the project and helping bring it to the screen.

As a creator, there are moments when an idea starts as a random thought and then turns into something bigger than you imagined. This was one of those moments.

THIS was the moment from the The Roast of Kevin Hart that stuck with me… and nobody changing my mind.

Not the jokes.
Not the insults.
Not the viral moments.

It was when Katt Williams and Kevin Hart shook hands and embraced after all them years of tension.

And Kev saying:

“I’m a fan first.”

Man… THAT mattered.

Then offering that olive branch on live TV and saying:

“I wanna be a brother. I wanna be a friend. I wanna move on.”

That’s growth.
That’s maturity.
That’s two Black men choosing peace over ego in front of the whole world.

We need more moments like that.
