There are so many videos available online that provide exercises to help with hand pain and thumb arthritis. Many of these videos are useful. However, exercise is not the only thing you can do to diminish pain from conditions like arthritis, tendinitis, and autoimmune disorders like lupus or Ehlers Danlos. There are tricks you can consider to do throughout your day to minimize stress on your painful joints or tendons. Therapists like to call it activity modification.
