Hi, I’m Balqeez Mustafa(BQ) is a Home Education Advocate, entrepreneur, and the founder of @thebqherself, a platform dedicated to equipping mothers across Africa and the diaspora with practical home systems and life skills. BQ builds from personal experience: she grew up without many foundational life skills, and has spent years intentionally building what she was never given for herself, and now for thousands of mothers walking the same road.
Through my platform, BQ creates digital tools, educational content, and community resources that speak to the real, unfiltered experience of modern African motherhood. Her work bridges home management, family wellbeing, and women's economic empowerment because she believes that when a mother has systems, she has freedom.
BQ speaks on home systems and functions, income for mothers, and entrepreneurship for women, bringing a voice to conversations that are too often missing from mainstream platforms.
