Here's the 60-min breakdown that actually works:
→ 5 MIN — Setup
Install Claude Code on your machine in one line, or just use the desktop app / web app if you don't want to touch a terminal. Authenticate once with your Anthropic account and you're live in any project folder.
→ 15 MIN — Skills
Skills are reusable playbooks Claude auto-invokes when your request matches. Think of them as "mini-experts" sitting in a folder — one for writing commits, one for reviewing PRs, one for writing tests in your team's style. The trigger is the description line. Be brutally specific or it won't fire.
→ 10 MIN — SuperPowers
Install the SuperPowers plugin. This is the layer that makes Claude disciplined — it forces brainstorming before building, test-driven development, and systematic debugging. Without it, Claude is a genius with ADHD. With it, Claude thinks like a senior engineer.
→ 10 MIN — Hooks
Hooks are automations that run before or after Claude does something. Auto-format after every edit. Run tests after every change. Block risky commands. Get a notification when Claude finishes a task. Set them up once and they just work — forever.
→ 10 MIN — Loops
Loops run a prompt on a recurring interval. Monitor a deployment every 2 minutes. Poll your PRs every 10 minutes. Watch error logs. Anything you manually check more than twice a day — put it in a loop and never check it again.
→ 10 MIN — Remote
Your skills, hooks, and context travel with you. Run Claude from the web app, the mobile app, or SSH into your dev box. Fix a typo on your landing page from an Uber. Kick off a migration from bed. Same setup, anywhere.
That's it. 1 hour and your entire workflow changes.
