My name is Deacon Richard Hudzik. It is my joy to be a deacon, serving in the Archdiocese of Chicago. It is my hope for this channel to have you experience with me the Good News, to be filled with the joy that life in Christ brings and to think about developments in theology.

The reflections offered arise out of a lifetime of study, prayer, many years' service as a deacon and a lawyer--not to mention my first vocation as husband, father and grandfather. I have directed the Archdiocese's retreat house; served at several parishes and now serve as director of ongoing formation for Chicago's deacons. It has been a blessing to receive a Doctor of Ministry degree (University of St. Mary of the Lake), as well as a law degree (J.D, University of Illinois).

I pray that whatever I say on this channel is fully consistent with the Catholic Church's teaching. If I should ever fail to live up to that, it is only because I am not wise enough to see where I am in error. Mistakes are mine alone.
