雞蛋仔 eggwaffle is an authentic street eat snacks in Hong Kong. Somehow, this delicacy has been spreading vrial around the World 🌎
Their history was dated back to the 1950s. Street vendors would cook them fresh on charcoal stoves, filling the air with an irresistible sweet aroma. They became a beloved street snack, eaten hot and plain, right from the paper bag.
My grandfather used to buy this beautiful delicacy for me as a sweet treat after I ate my dinner. 🥰 I still remembered the anticipation of watching and waiting for the vendor cook on his mobile cart wheel with the hot stove 🔥 and how skillful he would flip back and forth of his special bubble waffle double pans 🤘🏻 to get the cake mixture evenly cooked through ~ wow 🤩 once it came out ~ they were so crispy outside with soft, warm and moist center. Every bite had the amazing aroma that flows into your mouth ~ 👄 I really missed those egg waffles as I cannot find them just as good as those anywhere else anymore! 😪
