one year ago, today, i released the first binguschondo video! i never thought that a year later, i'd be here.

it's been a fantastic year on youtube. i have wanted to do this for a really long time, which you can see as this channel was made in 2012, 12 years ago (i am old)

finally deciding to sit down and do it a year ago was one of the best choices i've made in recent memory. having this outlet to be creative, share my thoughts, and connect with all of you has been absolutely incredible. so, thank you, all of you, for being here, even during my several breaks in posting. it means the absolute world.

speaking of those breaks, i'm unfortunately in one right now. it's no secret, but it's been a minute since a video was posted on this channel. this started with me undergoing a series of life changes, and an urge to further develop my style in writing and editing. those 2 factors had me kind of stuck for a while - but back in december, i finally felt like i had figured it out, and was ready to resume everything!

so, i got a let's play episode out, and then immediately got sick, for like, two full weeks. aside from just generally not feeling well, my voice was in shambles and would not have been pleasant to listen to. so, instead of recording audio, i worked on whatever else i could! and, when the time was right, i was able to get another let's play episode out for the holidays, and then, i was finally, for real this time, ready to start working again!

so, i recorded some footage, sat down to record audio, and... the audio quality wasn't great. i've talked about this before in one of my let's play episodes, but i live in a small, albeit, very noisy neighborhood, in a house with thin walls. so, everything that goes on outside, is always picked up by my mic. so, i worked on some other stuff in the meantime - recording more footage, writing a main channel video, and...

a tree fell in our yard 🙃

i thought the cleanup process would be very noisy, but they uhh... haven't... cleaned it up yet. it's been a week, so i figured i'd probably be able to find some downtime to record audio while nothing's going on outside.

...

would you believe me if i told you i got sick again? i'm not sure if my body is just worse than it once was, or if this weather has just fully gotten me beat, but a couple days ago, i started feeling about as bad as i was back in december.

but there is some good news! my next main channel video is ready to film whenever i get to feeling better, and a special anniversary video on the second channel is ready to record audio for! (it would've been out today haha :') )
and i am going crazy not being able to record a let's play video - better than adventure is so much fun, and i've had to stop myself from progressing too much off camera. so the world's just sitting there... waiting...

i'm ready to get back into the swing of things, and kick off this year with a great (maybe belated) start!

merry christmas, happy holidays, and happy new year everyone!

this year has been a crazy journey for me - one that i cannot thank all of you enough for.

to celebrate the day and give this year a good send-off, i put together a special hour-long let's play episode on bc@3. (no late night premiere this time, because i didn't want anyone to miss out.)

i'm so happy i got to spend this year with all of you. here's to many more to come! 🎉🎉🎉
