I create Explainer Monologues🍒

Mr. Zeecon

I recently watched Steven Bartlett’s podcast episode with Mr. Beast, and it hit differently. Bartlett, the mastermind behind The Diary of a CEO, has a way of pulling raw insights from the most successful minds. This time, he sat down with Jimmy Donaldson—better known as Mr. Beast—who has redefined YouTube with viral content and philanthropy.

Mr. Beast didn’t just get lucky. He spent years studying the algorithm, testing ideas, and obsessing over audience retention. His formula? Extreme generosity, high-stakes challenges, and storytelling that keeps viewers locked in until the last second.

Craft vs. Connection

I started my own content journey in 2008, but my focus was different. I obsessed over filmmaking as a craft—cinematography, editing, technical perfection. But I missed the bigger picture: the audience doesn’t care about technique unless it makes them feel something.

Mr. Beast cracked the code early. He knew that viral content isn’t about flashy skills—it’s about evoking emotion. While I was making content for fellow creators, he was making content for the world. And the world responded.

The Selfish Creator vs. The Selfless Creator

Many creators (myself included) crave recognition. But the truth? The audience owes us nothing. Attention must be earned by creating something that serves them.

Mr. Beast reinvests almost everything into bigger, better videos—not to show off, but to amplify the viewer’s experience. Meanwhile, struggling creators chase trends and quick wins, leading to burnout.

The Choice: The Bridge or The Exit Door

Success in content creation requires brutal honesty. Are you here for the love of storytelling, or just for the reward? If it’s the latter, there are easier ways to make money.

For those who truly love the game, the path is clear: create content so compelling, people want to share it.

As for me? While you reflect on your path, I’ll be working on my next story.

Working on a new brand film 🍒

It’s something new which I’m trying out as opposed to my usual psychological monologues with quite a few props involved.

The hardest part was to put together the villain of the story which resembles The Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It came disassembled with over 50 parts which I had to put together over 2 hours. My fingers are now numb 😂

The best part was to put my own twist on the narrative of Marvel’s multiverse with Wolverine and Deadpool as the main characters of the story.

There’s also something for the fans of Dragon Ball Z đŸ”„

Searching for a Memory in My iPhone

The Longing for Home
Some memories feel like home. This wasn’t just any memory—it was a snapshot of comfort, laughter, and love. I’d been replaying it in my mind but needed to see it, to feel its warmth again.

The Digital Hunt
I began searching through Google Drive, social media, and my Android gallery, hoping to unearth this cherished moment. Each folder felt like a treasure chest yielding nothing but air. Friends offered vague responses, and I realized how easily we lose the things we think are secure.

Then, desperation pushed me toward an unlikely possibility: my iPhone. Why would it be there? Still, hope made me scroll through 10,000 photos, reliving old meals, sunsets, and friendships.

A Picture That Feels Like Home
Just as I was about to give up, there it was. The photo wasn’t perfect—our faces weren’t visible—but it didn’t need to be. It was about the feelings it evoked: warmth, comfort, and an unspoken promise of eternity.

A quote I whispered that day resurfaced:
"I hope that you live a life you’re proud of. And if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

A New Year, A New Story
That memory found me just in time to begin anew. It reminded me that no matter how scattered or incomplete our stories feel, they can always be pieced together.

Here’s to living lives we’re proud of—and starting over when we must.

This is Mr. Zeecon, in the making of a great story.

You Feel Unsettled Because You Know You Are Meant for More

It’s that nagging feeling deep in your chest, an itch that no routine can scratch. You sit at your desk, scroll through endless feeds, or mindlessly check emails, but none of it fills the void. The world around you hums with purpose, but you feel like a spectator rather than a participant. It’s not dissatisfaction—it’s restlessness. Because you know, in your gut, you’re meant for more.

This feeling isn’t unique to you; it’s the universe’s way of nudging you toward your potential. It’s as if the life you’re living is a rough draft, while the masterpiece waits for you to summon the courage to revise it. You see glimpses of the person you could be—in fleeting moments of passion or rare bursts of inspiration. The ideas you jot down but never pursue. The dreams you shelve because they seem too big, too bold, or too impractical.

But here’s the thing: that restlessness is your ally, not your enemy. It’s a call to action, a reminder that comfort zones are deceptively dangerous. They keep you safe, but they also keep you small.

You’re not alone in feeling this way. Every great story—every success, every breakthrough—began with someone who felt out of place in their current life. They didn’t wait for permission to change; they took small steps. They tried, failed, learned, and grew.

So, what’s stopping you? Fear of failure? Fear of judgment? Those are temporary discomforts, but the regret of ignoring your potential lasts a lifetime. Start somewhere, anywhere. Take that course, write that page, make that call. Even the smallest action creates momentum, and momentum shatters stagnation.

You feel unsettled because you’re outgrowing the life you’ve settled for. Trust that feeling. It’s the compass pointing you toward the “more” you’re meant to be.

"To Feel It All Again"

Some days, I wish I could rewind life—not to fix mistakes or rewrite decisions, but simply to relive those fleeting, irreplaceable moments that made my heart feel alive. The ones where time felt like it stood still, and yet, it passed too quickly for me to grasp.

I think about the late-night talks that stretched until dawn, not because we ran out of time but because we ran out of words to say. The laughter so unfiltered it brought tears to our eyes. The quiet moments, sitting in the stillness with someone who just got you. It’s not about wanting more from life but wanting to experience those moments twice—to notice the details I missed the first time. The way sunlight danced on the leaves that summer, or the way someone’s voice cracked when they said something meaningful.

They say you only get one shot at life, but maybe we’re too busy looking forward to realize that some of the best parts already happened. Maybe we’re so focused on the “what’s next” that we forget to sit with what was. If I could feel it all again, I’d hold on just a little longer. I’d cherish the warmth of an embrace, the depth of a conversation, or the magic of a simple, ordinary day.

Life has a way of moving forward, dragging us with it, but every now and then, it’s okay to pause. To let nostalgia sweep over us. To remember that while we can’t go back, the feelings of those moments live on, shaping who we are.

Here’s to the memories that will always tug at our hearts. And here’s to making new ones, even while wishing we could press rewind.
