Renowned paleontologist Jingmai O'Connor at Chicago's Field Museum, a lifelong Chromette, named a newly discovered bird fossil (yes birds are dinosaurs) the Chromeornis funkyi. It lived 120 million years ago in China, had large teeth and clawed fingers on its wings, and for some strange reason it swallowed rocks. We've been doing this for 20 years and it's the first time someone's called us a dinosaur! Glad we could bring a bit of fossil funk to the great science of paleontology. (Wtf)
