Eugene Choi - Invidious

Eugene Choi was born in Los Angeles, California to South Korean immigrants. Choi had a conservative Christian upbringing and was baptized as an infant. Despite having never developed an interest for religion, Choi routinely attended church every Sunday since birth at the request of his parent's wishes. His parents wanted to make sure that Choi was sufficiently provided for, so they worked long hours every day with no days off. Choi was watched over by his aunts & uncles from his mother's side while his parents were occupied with their busy work schedule. Choi attended pre-school, kindergarten, and elementary school in his hometown followed by attending middle school at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California. Up to this point, Choi lived a primarily sheltered life, spending his free time watching TV, exploring the internet, and drawing. Choi was shy growing up, often too afraid to speak his mind and make eye contact due to the possibility that others might judge him. People would often ask if he was deaf because of how quiet he was. Others would share that they thought Choi was always praying because he was often caught staring at the ground when in fact it was Choi's way of avoiding social interraction and dealing with social anxiety. Despite having never been involved with sports until his teenage years, Choi was fascinated by muscles ever since he could remember. He often found himself drawing muscular men since his toddler days. He marveled at the sight of muscular public figures and icons such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Claude Van Damme, Brad Pitt, Sylvester Stallone, John Cena, and shows such as DragonBall Z. He fantasized about having an incredible physique one day, but it was about more than just that. Choi was convinced that having an incredible physique would ultimately change his life. Having lived a shy, reserved, and sheltered life, he thought that building the best physique possible would make him more confident and finally get attention from women. When Choi began attending high school in his hometown, he joined the school's wrestling team. Choi thought this was a good idea since the only two sports that had regular weight room sessions were football and wrestling, however, since Choi was only 103 pounds at the time, wrestling seemed like the more logical choice. At age 14 as a high school freshman, Choi posted his first YouTube video titled, '14 Year Old Korean Bruce Lee' showcasing his physique which went viral and amassed over 9.4 million views. Choi wrestled all 4 years of his high school career as a Varsity Letterman, 2 of which he was captain of the team. Despite not gaining much confidence nor the attention from the women he desired, Choi went from weighing 103 pounds to 135 lbs at the end of his senior year. Choi understood that he had a lot more growing to do until he felt satisfied with his physique, so upon graduating high school, he asked his mother to purchase his first gym membership at a local Bally Total Fitness which happened to be the closest gym to Choi's home at the time. Meanwhile, Choi also began classes at a local community college in his hometown. For the next few years, Choi's life mainly consisted of bodybuidling, attending community college courses, internet surfing, and despite still being shy, Choi regularly spent time hanging out with a few close friends. Also during this time, Choi regularly attended church every Sunday, worked part-time at a fast food restaurant, and offered live online webcam shows for money. Despite building more muscle and furthur improving his physique, Choi still felt inadequate and was not garnering the attention that he wanted from women. It was not until the summer of 2012, when Choi stumbled upon the seduction community via the internet where he learned that attracting women was a skill that he can learn and continue improving similar to bodybuilding. Choi quickly applied this newfound knowledge to use and during that same summer, he experienced his first encounter with a woman. At this time, Choi had also gotten accepted into the University of California, Berkeley where he dedicated to continue improving his dating skills while also finally having a glimpse of confidence for the first time. Upon graduating UC Berkeley, Choi took on various jobs to explore career options. He worked as a personal trainer, rideshare driver, and various sales jobs. He is currently self-employed as a digital content creator utilizing multiple platforms such as OnlyFans, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Snap Chat. To this day, Choi still enjoys bodybuilding and spending time with his family & friends.
