KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
Genesis 41:38 (KJV): "And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?"
The Spirit of God in you is your greatest qualification for greatness and success.
After listening to Joseph explain what needed to be done concerning the coming famine shown to Pharoah in a dream, Pharoah decided that Joseph was the right man for the job (Genesis 41:33-36).
The question of Joseph’s competence in governance did not arise. Pharoah did not ask if he had a degree in economics. It was enough that the Spirit of God was evidently at work in Joseph.
Understand that when the famine eventually came, it affected the entire world. The Bible says in Genesis 41:57, “And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.”
In essence, Joseph planned for the entire world and not just Egypt. Only the Holy Spirit in Him could provide such great wisdom.
Education, talent, and experience are important in the success equation. However, they have their limits. There are heights of wisdom that only the Holy Spirit can help you reach. Isaiah 48:17 says, "The Lord teaches you to profit." Allow Him to work through you daily. May the people of this world see you and confirm that, indeed, you are not alone, but the Spirit of God functions through you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit. I know that I have been sealed with Him forever. By Him, I do great things. He shows me truths, ideas, and solutions that an academic degree may never show me. He positions me as a source of answers in the world, to the glory of Your name. Amen.
