We are an Amsterdam based rope manufacturer and marine webshop specialized in ropes, rigging and deck hardware. We ship worldwide.

You can order your ropes with a variety of splices. The company founder, Jan-Willem Polman, is the author of the renowned book 'Splicing modern ropes'. We have a team of specialists here every day splicing ropes, swaging steel wire and packing orders for our customers. Our team of riggers travel around the world to fit out mega racing yachts with the best ropes.
Besides your running rigging and deck hardware you can also order your standing rigging our web shop. In a few simple steps we explain how to measure your stays and guardrail and then custom order them on our website.

Eco Cruiser - Innovation in rope design

This year we celebrate our 10th anniversary and we are proud to present our latest innovation in rope design. We aim to improve our rope design continuously and use the latest innovative techniques and materials along the way. During the yachting season we try and test new things out on the water. For example, last year we introduced the Eco Dock and Eco Fender. Both ropes made from recycled rPET yarns. And now, after a year of development and testing, we are also introducing the Eco Cruiser.

Webinar: Splicing modern ropes

In two separate webinars we explain the various materials and rope constructions of modern ropes. We will also explain which rope to choose for a specific application.
Even though this is an online event, the webinar is very much about ‘Doing It Yourself’. You will learn how to splice halyards made from Dyneema® or Stirotex fibres and double braided polyester ropes. We also explain how to make softshackles. All splices will be demonstrated step-by-step and you will have plenty of time to follow the instructions. During the webinar there are opportunities to ask questions.

Our TN-Racing has a core of high-tech Stirotex fibres that have good UV-resistance. And because the core takes the full load in this rope, the cover does not need to be used in the eye-splice. This is the tutorial how to splice this rope: https://youtu.be/CVc9xAAwLC8
The cover is made of a Technora/polyester mix and is very durable, great for winches and other heavy work.
