I wanted to share a quick update—I’ll be stepping back from creating new videos for a while due to a long-time chronic health issue that has gotten progressively worse. As a result, weekly uploads will be on hold for the time being.
I’m incredibly grateful for all of your support, encouragement, and engagement over the past 18 months. It truly means a lot that over 16,000 of you clicked that subscribe button. I hope to return when I’m able, and in the meantime, feel free to explore the videos already on the channel.

If you use Home Assistant, letting you know that SwitchBot is becoming a “Works with Home Assistant” partner. This means more existing SwitchBot products will gain Home Assistant support via Bluetooth, Cloud, and Matter integrations. New products will be co-developed with Home Assistant for even better compatibility. What are your thoughts on the recently announced Alexa+, the generative AI version of Alexa? It says it "is able to orchestrate tens of thousands of services and devices" to accomplish specific tasks, like making dinner reservations, getting concert tickets, and ordering food. It will cost $19.99/month, but is FREE for Prime members. Availability begins in March, starting in the US.
