Hi everyone

It's me Reena. I hail from Kerala and and I migrated to Canada at the age of 30 with my husband and 2 little kids . After landing in Canada , the biggest challenge was to un-learn what we already knew and re-learn what Canada offered us. Leaving our Karma-Bhoomi was never an easy decision, compromising our culture was tough, adapting to Canadian life was a struggle. Apart from that, raising our kids in mixed culture was chaotic. That's why I named my channel " Nearly Canadian" , coz' I am neither a fully transformed Canadian nor a complete Malayali. I constantly step and hop between both .

In my channel , I will try to present to you whatever I have experienced as a Canadian Malayali , in varied roles like mother, wife, student, friend etc. You may find sit down videos where I will share my experiences and opinions, travels vlogs, Canadian news, cooking and food vlogs. Overall my intention is to shed some light about Canada as a Malayali.
