πŸ₯ž SOURDOUGH PANCAKES (LEVITO MADRE)

If you have an active sourdough starter or some fresh leftovers, these pancakes will become your favorite breakfast! They turn out incredibly soft, flavorful, and, unlike yeast-based baked goods, have no strong yeast taste.

Ingredients:
Levito madre (active sourdough starter): 120 g (β‰ˆ 1/2 cup)
Milk: 120 ml (β‰ˆ 1/2 cup)
Egg: 1 large
Sugar or honey: 20–30 g (β‰ˆ 2–3 tbsp)
Butter (melted) or vegetable oil: 30 g (β‰ˆ 2 tbsp)
All-purpose flour: 120 g (β‰ˆ 1 cup)
Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/4 tsp

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions:
Base: In a large bowl, combine the sourdough starter, milk, egg, and sugar. Mix well until smooth and uniform.
Butter: Add the melted butter (or oil) and mix again.
Dry ingredients: Add the flour, salt, and baking soda. Quickly stir with a whisk until just combined.
Important: The batter should be thick but pourable. Do not overmix!
Rest: Let the batter sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.

πŸ”₯ Cooking:
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Scoop the batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface.
Flip and cook for another 30–40 seconds until golden brown.
Serve with honey, berries, or your favorite syrup. Enjoy!

Enjoy fluffy, flavorful pancakes made with levito madre (sourdough starter) β€” naturally fermented, gut-friendly, and full of digestive enzymes. Unlike regular yeast, sourdough brings better nutrient absorption, lower glycemic impact, and rich, natural flavors. Perfect for a healthy breakfast, probiotic boost, and energy-filled mornings! 🍯
