✨ 3 ways I maintained my weight on holiday ✨
1️⃣ Home-cooked food with portion control 🍲 Even with Amma’s cooking, I managed to stick to one main meal a day. It was definitely a challenge, especially while being busy. In 4 weeks, we only ate out three times — once at Trishna in Mumbai, once in Rajahmundry with cousins, and another time during a music night in Hyderabad. This small change made a huge difference.
2️⃣ One meal a day for most of the trip + intermittent fasting in the last week ⏱️ The last week was filled with dinners, invitations, and catching up with friends, so I loosened up a bit. But keeping to one meal a day earlier on really helped me stay balanced.
3️⃣ No sweets — the game-changing habit ❌🍬 This started out of frustration, but it turned into one of the best habits for me. I still enjoyed fruits, and the only sweeteners I had were from my creatine supplement, vitamin C and zinc tablets, and protein drinks. But no added sugar, no traditional sweets — and that made all the difference.
Still contemplating if it was all just a dream or if it truly happened. Meeting Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar, and not just posing for photos — but actually spending unhurried, quality time in conversation with them — felt nothing short of surreal.
More than the pictures, it’s those heartfelt moments of sitting down, talking, and truly connecting that I’m most grateful for. No photo can capture the emotions I felt — the joy, the awe, the deep gratitude, and that childhood-dream-come-true kind of excitement.
