Stop spending hundreds on skincare when aloe vera does THIS 👀
Aloe vera because this plant is seriously underrated for skincare!
It's super hydrating but won't make you oily. Aloe vera is literally 99% water, so it gives you that moisture without the greasy feeling. Perfect if you're oily or combo skin like me.
It calms EVERYTHING down- redness, irritation, angry breakouts, sunburn - aloe just soothes it all. This is honestly my go-to when my skin is freaking out.
It actually helps your skin heal - it's packed with vitamins C and E, so it helps with acne scars and any irritation over time.
How I use it:
If you have an aloe plant, just cut a leaf, scoop out that gel, and slap it on your face for 15 mins. Rinse or leave it on as a light moisturizer.
You can also mix it with your regular moisturizer for extra hydration, use it as a face mask when your skin needs some love, or dab it on breakouts before bed.
Keep it in the fridge - the cooling effect is chef's kiss, especially for puffy mornings or after being in the sun.
Honestly, aloe is cheap, easy to find, and works for pretty much everyone. If you're not using it yet, this is your sign to start!
