Hey community, I just Wanted to offer clarity on a few things

Appreciate all the love shown to the Rise and Fall of LeBen James video. When you try out new ideas, you never know how they’ll be received, so I don’t take it for granted.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to talk about the use of AI narration in my videos. So far, the feedback has been pretty split, with half of you not really caring and the other half feeling strongly about it.

I’ve already explained why I use AI. Since these videos are meant to be parodies, AI narration makes it easier to get the specific voices and tones I’m going for (even though it doesn’t always hit perfectly). The ‘Rise and Fall’ was supposed to sound like a parody sports analyst, for example. My own voice just isn’t fluid enough for that style, so using AI gives me way more flexibility.

If I ever decide to make a serious, real documentary-style video, I’d probably hire someone to do the narration instead of relying on AI.

You’ll probably see more AI-narrated videos in the future, but most of you who’ve been around for a while already know that’s what I use. For those who really dislike AI narration, I get it… I’ll try to find a balance soon.
