⚠️ RichSameday Special Update: Lab Report & Road Alert
Note from Rich: I’m officially OFF today (Wednesday). I’m here in the lab creating content and monitoring the scanners so you don't have to. I’m not out on a run, but I’m watching these roads closely for you!
📍 Southington & New Britain, CT
The Forecast: We are under a Squall Warning starting late this afternoon.
The Risk: Expect sudden "whiteout" conditions on Route 10 and I-84. Temperatures will drop to 25°F, causing any wet spots to turn to black ice instantly.
Rich’s Advice: If you’re heading to New Britain for NYE, leave now or wait until the squall passes. Don't get caught on the highway when the visibility hits zero.
📍 New York City (The Hub)
The Forecast: The Arctic front hits the city around midnight.
The Risk: It’s a "Flash Freeze" situation. Rain will turn to ice and snow just as the ball drops.
Rich’s Advice: With 122 million people traveling this week, NYC is a gridlock nightmare. If you don't have to be in the city, stay home and stay warm.
The Bottom Line:
I've got over 7 years of infraction-free driving around these cities, and I’m telling you, tonight is the night to be careful. My van is parked securely in the backyard, and I'm staying in the lab.

Having a clear path for home deliveries is greatly appreciated. Your excellent service keeps things running smoothly. However, an obstructed path is unsafe and can delay deliveries, particularly when items need to be placed in the kitchen. Thank you in advance, especially with winter approaching. 🫡
