As an Editorial and Advertising graduate, I also like to dive into the world of digital retouching and photo manipulation in cosmetics and influencer advertising, to see how brands lie to sell their products. Exposing filters, blurred skin and other misleading techniques influencers use....like facetune!

I already delayed posting this because so much is happening in real time but ANOTHER UPDATE regarding Naked Sundays. They have released a statement and long story short, it seems as though their sunscreen made by the same lab as UV, is also made in other labs. They have been testing their sunscreen during all this and the results show their sunscreen is in fact spf 50. They have removed their sunscreen from websites etc out of caution.

Omg I’m fuuuuuming. I saw some comments accusing me of filtering / blurring a before and after shot in one of my shorts and I was annoyed because I was like…do these people not know my content. And then I watched the video back….what the actually f*ck. the left hand side is the ‘after’ shot as it appears on the same video but on TikTok. The one on the right is as it appears on YouTube shorts. They’ve completely crushed the quality of the video so it looks like I’ve gone onto some app and literally blurred my skin! I won’t be uploading onto shorts again until I figure out how to ensure the best quality uploads
