I’m Chuu, a full-time artist from Myanmar, now living in Paris.
Most of my days are filled with revolution, research, project proposals, art markets, interviews, and unpacking centuries of patriarchy on a canvas.
But this channel is not about all that. This is where I come to breathe.
Here, I document the lighter, messier, more human side of being an artist.
Yes, I live in exile.
Yes, I carry trauma.
And yes — I also laugh, dress up, eat too many pastries, and try to make life a little magical even when it feels like it’s falling apart.
After I fled Myanmar, I hit the lowest point of my life.
No painting. No vision. Just survival.
The only thing that helped was community — and slowly, little rituals of living.
Now, with this channel, I’m inviting creativity back into the room.
Bit by bit, color by color.
It’s not perfect, and it’s not polished — but it’s honest.
It’s the diary of a girl who squeezes the lemons life throws at her... and paints with them.

People think international murals are all glamour and travel photos. In reality? It’s 90% fighting with scaffolding, arguing with the weather, and trying to find spicy food in Switzerland.
From the streets of Thailand to the mountains of Switzerland and the energy of India—I refused to change my style or play small. Success isn’t just being in a museum; it’s taking up space where they least expect us. Still here, still painting, and still haven’t washed the paint off my favorite painting yellow boots.

Last night, I sat in a theatre over 150 years old — where Charlie Chaplin once performed.
The Great Gatsby danced in gold and illusion.
As an artist, I watched how movement paints emotion — the way I paint silence — both chasing what time can’t keep.
I often go to the theatre 🎭 but never filmed it.
Maybe one day…
