I used to blame everything on my tinnitus, and since accepting it, my life has changed. Tinnitus isn't the end of a happy life-and l'm here to prove it.

For as long as I can remember, tinnitus has been a companion. I'm now 24 years old, and after many rough years, I have finally begun to live happily. My tinnitus hasn't gone away, but my negative response to it absolutely has.

When I was struggling to cope, the search for reliable information was a struggle itself. I made this channel in hope to reach you at the point in your journey where you need it most.

Our community has grown so quickly!

Today at work reminded me why tinnitus awareness matters so much.

Seeing people right at the start of their tinnitus journey took me straight back to that place of constant fear, the overwhelm, and the feeling of being brushed off with ā€œyou’ll just have to live with it.ā€

What felt important today was being able to show up in a way I WISH I’d experienced. Just sitting with someone, really hearing them, and not brushing away how hard it feels, because I’ve been there myself.

Even on days where tinnitus feels okay for me now, I NEVER forget how heavy those early days were.

If you’re in that place right now, it won’t always feel this consuming and I hope my videos give you some comfort in times of need🩷

Living with tinnitus can be incredibly lonely.

The isolation of the noise is what inspired me to start posting on social media back in 2021. The advocacy I have done has helped me to remind myself (and others) that we weren’t alone🩷

But I also knew… scrolling and comments weren’t always enough…

That’s why The Tinnitus Journaling Club includes online live workshops with others who truly understand, a space to be seen, heard, and supported in real time 🄰

For the longest time, I spent so much energy trying to control my tinnitus, and honestly, it just made me more frustrated and exhausted.

I’d obsess over the ringing, worry it would never end, and feel like I was constantly losing.

Over time, I realised that the more I accepted it and took tiny, gentle steps each day, the calmer I started to feel.

It hasn’t disappeared, but life feels lighter, and I’ve learned that I don’t have to let it run the show🩷

2026 isn’t about fixing tinnitus… it’s about living well alongside it 🩷

This year, my goals as someone who lives with tinnitus and advocates for it:

🧘 Meditate more – supporting my nervous system, not silencing tinnitus

šŸ“¹ Post more on YouTube – sharing tips, stories, and real life experiences

🌱 Celebrate more wins – noticing progress, big or small

✨ Open The Tinnitus Journaling Club (February!!)– a safe space for reflection, connection, and online workshops together

What’s one thing you want to prioritise with tinnitus this year?

Some days, tinnitus just won’t quiet down. Mine has been like it for the past few days since being congested😩

And that’s okay. We’re not failing, we’re just responding to what our nervous system needs right now.

This post is a gentle reminder:

• You don’t need silence to care for yourself
• You’re allowed to show up in small ways
• And loud days pass, your care for yourself is what lasts

If you ever want a little extra support, reflection prompts, or a space to journal alongside others who understand, the Tinnitus Journaling Club is here February 2026🌿

Take a breath. Take a moment. And let today be enough.

Today might have felt like a flat walk, just putting one foot in front of the other with no end in sight.

But take a closer look at the path you have traveled…

Those flowers? They are the growth you didnt notice while focused on the climb. Each one is a moment you chose to keep going, a day you managed the noise, a bit of resilience you built along the way.

Flat days are still part of the journey. A plateau is not a lack of progress. You are not just climbing, you are blooming with every step.

Keep goingšŸ‘ŸāœØ

The holidays can be a lot when you have tinnitus, right?

All the noise, all the planning, all the expectations… it can feel really overwhelming.

Remember, It’s OKAY to hit pause for a bit. Take a moment for yourself, maybe a quiet cup of tea, some calming sounds, or just a few minutes to breathe. Those little moments really do matter.

What’s one little thing you’re doing this holiday season that actually brings you joy, even with tinnitus?

Drop it in the comments so we can all share a bit of calm and cheerāœØā¬‡ļø

If tinnitus feels louder at Christmas, you’re not imagining it…

The season is noisy, overstimulating, and exhausting. I’ve been there and over the years I’ve picked up a few things that help.

I hope this post gives you some practical ways to protect your nervous system, without overprotecting or panicking.

You’re allowed to do Christmas differently. And most importantly, don’t feel bad for saying ā€œnoā€.

Wishing you all a Christmas break full of joy and happiness āœØšŸŽ„
