My primary broadcasting and racing pc suffered a near-catastrophic system failure. For a few stressful days of endless repair loops and black screens, I genuinely wondered if the PIRATE ship was sinking and if I had just lost my ability to create content for you all.
Thanks to some intense late-night troubleshooting, the main rig is back alive. But that downtime was a huge wake-up call.
Sim racing and creating content for this amazing community isn't just my passion—it’s a vital part of how I provide for my wife and our sons. When the hardware goes down, it doesn't just mean missing a race; it puts a real, immediate strain on my household.
That’s why I’m launching the Keep The P1R4TE Streams Alive! campaign.
My goal is to raise funds for a dedicated stream PC. Having a primary system with my failing pc as a backup if needed means completely future-proofing the channel: zero downtime for our Forza seasonal changeovers, no interruptions to the videos, and absolute peace of mind that a single hardware glitch won't take us off the track.

Ahoy there mateys!! Just to update everyone; my PC is pretty much dead. I can do some tasks before it decides to quit on me so right now I'm not sure what will happen next for me (STEVE the PIRATE). Several of my YouTube Creator friends have suggested I do some sort of crowdfunder to help buy a new device but I'm reluctant to start asking for money. If only I was partnered with a PC builder hahaha. I'm trying to get my PC to work the best I can and I will hopefully stream FH5 and FH6 over the next couple of days 🤞but I don't know right now how long those streams will be due to the PC restarting. I am so sorry for all of this. You have all been so amazing lately when it comes to supporting me and my channel and it feels awful to be letting you all down.
Due to @ASUS being really poor with customer service I will not be live streaming today. I need to get my PC fixed or get a better one! Sorry mateys! Hopefully see you all soon!
