We stopped making "real estate content."
That's why his account blew up.
Nobody wakes up excited to watch a realtor explain mortgage rates over royalty-free piano music.
But people will absolutely fight in the comments over whether their neighborhood is overrated.
So we stopped posting like agents and started posting like locals.
Tier lists.
Hot takes on which areas are slept on.
The kind of stuff that gets two San Diegans arguing like they're three IPAs in.
Mortgage rates make you anxious.
A tier list puts you on defense.
And nobody stays quiet about that in the comments.
8 months, zero ad spend:
4,646% increase in engagement
1,177% increase in impressions
37,970+ monthly interactions
Multiple 100K+ view videos on a 2,139-follower account
A save means "I might need this."
A share means "this is so me."

Everywhere you look, someone’s trying to stand out with a bigger banner, a louder pitch or a booth giveaway people barely remember.
Here's what @brandonfortino from Fortino Studios did instead 🔗⬇️

Stop treating your expertise like a one-time transaction:
do the work, get paid once, then start over again from zero.
In 2022, I was hired to help build an online course.
Most people would assume “course instructor” just means showing up and filming.
It didn’t.
I was involved in:
• curriculum outlining
• script development with copywriters
• readthroughs and rehearsals
• refining delivery and pacing
• filming as the on-camera instructor
The deal structure was a one-time fee + revenue share. 👈🏽
At the time, I intellectually understood the value of recurring upside.
But there’s something different about seeing payments continue hitting your account years after the original work was done.
I’m STILL getting paid from that project.
🎓 Here's what you should know:
Expertise becomes far more valuable when it’s turned into an asset instead of only a service.
Honestly, this is a huge part of what I help clients with.
It’s not just about repurposing content.
It’s about repackaging expertise into formats that can scale:
courses, frameworks, media, systems, licensing, education, IP.
Sometimes that looks like turning a livestream into a 24/7 sales asset.
Sometimes it’s transforming years of industry knowledge into a course or content ecosystem that compounds over time.
The internet has made distribution infinitely easier.
Most people still haven’t adjusted to how valuable specialized knowledge becomes once it can scale beyond your time.

Most people think selling out a live event takes a huge following, a celebrity speaker, and months of planning.
We did it in 60 days with no discounting and a last-minute speaker change during the LA wildfires.
Here's what actually moved tickets:
→ We built a waitlist BEFORE launching ticket sales
→ We turned venue walk-throughs and food tastings into social content
→ VIP tickets sold out first because we priced for value, not volume
→ The holiday "dead zone" became our urgency advantage
Your next big business opportunity isn't in your inbox. It's in the room.
I wrote about the full blueprint, every phase, every crisis, every result, for @entrepreneur.

Let’s time-travel.
Six weeks from now, you’re in a sales conversation with a high-level founder.
She’s sharp. Successful. Used to being the smartest person in the room.
You’re reading her in real time.
You notice how she processes information.
You hear the pattern behind her objections.
You shift your language slightly.
Her posture changes.
Her tone softens.
She says yes because your words matched her wiring.
Most entrepreneurs don’t struggle with their offer.
They struggle with calibrating their message to the person in front of them.
Decision-makers don’t all think the same way.
Some need proof.
Some need possibility.
Some need certainty.
Some need control.
If you can’t identify that quickly, you default to over-explaining and hoping something lands.
Inside NLP Practitioner, we train this level of precision.
Decision strategy.
Language calibration.
Identity alignment.
If you can read them, you can lead them.
NLP Practitioner starts March 25th in San Diego, CA.

The psychology of YouTube Shorts just clicked for me at @VidSummit.
@MaryAllyson revealed why most creators fail to convert Shorts viewers:
They're missing authentic storytelling moments.
Here's what struck me watching her journey from 729 views to 1.7M subs:
She stopped creating what she "should" make (vegan grocery hauls)
and started making content that genuinely excited her (pop culture cakes).
The result?
• 112M views on a Taylor Swift cake
• 87M on a plane decoration challenge
• 10M+ returning viewers monthly
But the real genius?
"Create WITH your audience, not FOR them."
She features actual viewer comments in videos,
builds on their ideas, and turns successful shorts
concepts into deeper long-form stories.
