Isang malaking upset, nasungkit ni Brandon Figueroa ang WBA featherweight world title matapos niyang i-knockout ang dating undefeated na si Nick Ball sa ika-12 at huling round.
Matapos ang 11 rounds ng matitinding palitan kung saan dikit na dikit ang iskoran, tinapos ni Figueroa ang laban gamit ang isang malupit na left hook na nagpabagsak kay Ball, bago tuluyang itinigil ng referee ang laban 32 segundo pa lang sa huling round.
Ang madramang pagkapanalo na ito ay nagpatahimik sa mga fans sa M&S Bank Arena at nauwi pa sa saglit na gulo sa pagitan ng dalawang kampo sa loob ng ring dahil sa tindi ng emosyon.
Karapat-dapat ba si Ball sa isang immediate rematch, o dapat nang dumeretso si "The Heartbreaker" sa isang unification bout?

But honestly—do you agree with the 118–110 score? After such a competitive fight, that card feels disrespectful to the Mexican side, who showed toughness and pushed the champion every round.
