He's finally in!!! We have got our snakehead in his new aquarium. I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. To be fair I think he is fairly happy too, he's been out exploring and also chilling amongst the tangled roots and plants. Dandelions are one of the very first food sources for our buzzy friends in early spring. ​By leaving the mower in the shed for another week, I’m helping the local ecosystem and getting more time to watch nature. It’s a win win. Plus, "controlled wilderness" sounds way more professional than "I can't be bothered to weed," right?

For me, it was a stunning pair of Apistogramma bitaeniata. I hesitated because I wasn't sure if my blackwater setup was ready, and I've kicked myself ever since!
