Have you said no to a new fish recently and regretted it? . It was very hard to walk away without buying a group of these Slate plecos @MaidenheadAquatics@ Taunton Maybe I'll go back and see if there are any left.
A new update video has been released on our Andrao Snakehead. . A few problems have hit the aquarium with white mould and poor plant growth. Go watch the video to see what happened and how we fixed it. . https://youtu.be/UXWleGVtpFo
Can you work out what fish is hiding in the plant? . I don't often see them in the big tank as they love exploring all the crevices and hiding places. But they have recently been getting very brave and showing themselves more often.
The most underrated cichlid in the hobby just got its spotlight.
The Keyhole Cichlid (Cleithracara maronii) is criminally overlooked looks dull in a shop tank, but put it in a planted setup and it transforms completely. Peaceful, easy to breed, and the parental care is stunning to watch.
New video is up full care guide, tank mates, breeding tips, and why this fish might be the perfect centrepiece you never considered. Link in the comments!
It's not often I share someone else's videos but @alexb_aquatics new aquarium is cool! Really simple and properly wild looking. I've linked the video if you want to go take a look.
Otocinclus are one of the ultimate cleanup crew, but they can be notoriously sensitive. I want to test a theory: Does keeping them in larger groups actually make them easier to keep?
Drop two numbers in the comments: Group Size: How many do you keep together?
Success Score: On a scale of 1–10 (1 = struggling, 10 = thriving/fat), how has your experience been?
Why the data? We know Otos are social, but does a group of 3 vs. 8 make the difference between survival and success? Let’s see what the "group math" says in the comments!
Need to boost your score? If your success score isn't where you want it to be, I’ve got you covered. I released a deep-dive video covering keeping Otocinclus healthy and happy long term.
Have you seen my newest video? Do you like a minimal clear water design or more of a natural blackwater style? . It's the first time I've created a minimalist clearwater aquascape for the channel! And do you know what? I love it! Of course it had to have Anubias in it; one of my favourite plants.
New pond video dropping soon! . Katie has FINALLY let me build the pond of my dreams. Getting the local permits for a saltwater Great White enclosure was an absolute nightmare, but it was so worth it. Video dropping on the channel at 11:59 April 1st! 🦈🐳 . Obviously this is ridiculous but I bet this thumbnail would get me some clicks over on the channel.
