One Project at a Time is a workshop channel built around cars, boats, woodworking, detailing, DIY projects, and honest conversations about life.
The shed has become my therapy. Not because it fixes everything, but because it gives me a reason to get up, create something, solve a problem, and keep moving forward.
Through projects, stories, and practical skills, I hope to encourage other men who are carrying pain, grief, trauma, stress, or loneliness to find their own way forward.
We don’t have to rebuild our lives overnight.
We can do it one project at a time.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.
This year, I understand more than ever how important that message is.
After losing my little girl Eva-Jean, there have been days where simply getting out of bed felt like an achievement. Grief doesn’t have a timeline, and sometimes the hardest battles are the ones nobody else can see.
One thing that has helped me is getting out into the shed, picking up some tools, and focusing on a project. Not because it fixes everything, but because it gives me a reason to keep moving forward.
That’s the idea behind One Project at a Time.
It’s not really about boats, trailers, motors, or the projects themselves. It’s about showing that when life feels overwhelming, you don’t have to fix everything today.
Just take it one project at a time.
One day at a time.
One step at a time.
If you’re struggling, please reach out to someone. A mate, family member, counsellor, support group—anyone. You don’t have to carry it all on your own.
And if you know a bloke who’s doing it tough, check in on him. A simple message or phone call can mean more than you realise.
