He's created a ridiculously fun and playable game, with far too many "in-jokes" - I particularly like that my special attack is "PR Comment Tsunami" (I'm well known for leaving expansive notes), and that my dog Bean also features. Barry Smart secondary attack is a trombone blast, Ian Griffiths throws heavy Programming C# tomes (with a special attack of "long-form post" which causes enemies to pause and read), James Broome weapon is a Feedback Loop, James Dawson has a very powerful Firewall, Carmel Eve has a binary and hexadecimal attack, and Ed Freeman's special attack is Mathematics!

Barry Smart analyses the results of benchmarking different data processing engines on #MicrosoftFabric.
We compare #Pandas, #PySpark, #Polars, and #DuckDB across various compute configurations.
The results provide concrete, Fabric-specific evidence for a broader industry trend: for medium-scale datasets (anything up to ~100GB), modern in-process engines like DuckDB and Polars on single-node Python notebooks are consistently faster and up to 5x cheaper than distributed Spark clusters.
