🏗️ Helping you build your own table with podcasting.
🎙️ ABOUT POD MAHAL
Hi, I'm Misbah Haque 👋🏽
In 2016, I started podcasting from my childhood bedroom with no audience or credibility.
Within a year, I landed my dream job in the Bay Area coaching Fortune 1000 execs and pro athletes while producing and co-hosting a show that went on to do over 1M downloads.
There are many factors to how I did it, but it all comes down to one of my core beliefs:
Why wait to be invited to someone else’s table?
Build your own and people will pull up a chair.
In 2020, I founded Pod Mahal on a mission to help others build a body of work through podcasting.
We offer consulting to empower you to own your means of production, as well as done-for-you services where all you need to do is show up and record.
I also host my podcast, Habit Chess, where I collect the best ideas on high agency thinking and skill acquisition.

After years of helping creators build their own table through podcasting, I’ve finally put everything I’ve learned into one place.
In 2016, I was a curious fitness coach recording my first podcast from my childhood bedroom. No audience, no credibility, just a burning desire to connect and find my way in the industry.
Within one year, that podcast changed everything - connecting me with industry leaders, landing my dream job coaching Fortune 1000 executives and professional athletes, and eventually co-hosting a show with over a million downloads.
But here’s what still blows my mind: I wasn’t special.
I didn’t have fancy equipment, industry connections, or a massive following. What I had was a willingness to start before I felt ready, to learn in public, and to build my own table instead of waiting for an invitation to someone else’s.

Your podcast doesn’t need a sponsor to make money.
If you sell a service or product, your business IS the sponsor.
It feeds your funnel, not someone else’s.

People didn’t say yes to be on my podcast because I was well known.
They said yes because of who else had already said yes.
That’s how credibility can compound.

Everything your clients ask you is a potential episode.
The most “basic” questions usually perform the best.
They don’t want to hear it from Instagram.
They want to hear it from you.
