🎵 1. LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN!

Stop noodling without studying the language first!

🎯 2. PRACTICE LANGUAGE!
Steal phrases from your favourite players
Work them until you can sing AND play them in multiple keys fluently
This is where most students get frustrated - but it's essential!

🎼 3. LEARN THE CHANGES!
Know your key centres to nail those changes like Clifford Brown and Blue Mitchell
Without this, you'll always be reacting instead of leading

Remember: PRACTICE means doing stuff we cannot yet do. It hurts the ego, but that's how we grow!
