Update: We decided we're saving up for an American Super Nintendo instead.
Apparently, Super Famicom games can fit in the cartridge slot, but there's a catch.
You have to ply out 2 plastic pieces that are in the cartridge slot. This will allow us to play Japanese games. The American games we currently have for the system right now are:

Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario All-Stars, & Tetris + Dr. Mario.

Have any US/JP game recommendations feel free to let me know.
