MAY YOU LIVE LONG AND PROSPER and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Nothing like some Star Trek beauty to brighten the weekend. I have always been a big fan of Captain Kirk and Mr. Zulu.

Soo it brought me great joy when a friend shared this photo with me.

I wanted to give you an update on this week's schedule. I am confident we can broadcast on Monday without issue.

Tuesday is 50/50

Beyond Tuesday, the rest of the week most likely reserved as I am going to be preparing to travel to the midwest and check out the opportunity that's been offered to me. I always like to see things in person, get a feel for the area and make sure I am comfortable.

Ideally, I'd like to stream in the midwest so we will see.

BUT, in the meantime, please look forward to shows on Monday and Tuesday, kind of like I used to do in Tucson LOL.

Oh and by the way, did you get a chance to check out this SWEET VIDEO with a TRIO of F-35's taking off? Click the link below to watch the video.

We will see you soon!

WELL SOO MUCH FOR THE POLL QUESTION:

If you were on today's show, we discussed the the debate on where we should broadcast tomorrow(Friday).

Should we be at Love Field with Independence and Liberty One?

Or should we be at DFW International Airport for Flagship One?

Well, Southwest Airlines aircraft routers took care of that debate by removing both of them from DAL's line up on Friday. BUT, things can change.

So for now, we will be broadcasting from DFW International on Friday.

I hope you can join me and take a quick second to click below and pre-like the show for tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your support and kindness. I look forward to seeing you all Friday around 11 a.m. CDT/16z.

I might even sneak On The Air earlier. We will see.

Take care.

HERES THE ONE PERCENT OF THE TIME....THANK YOU QANTAS AND ATC FOR MAKING ME LOOK DUMB.

Yes on Monday's show I said in fact 99 percent of the time Qantas A380 lands on the west side.....UNTIL TODAY.

DFW airside ops closed down the runway for a bit and Qantas landed on the East side. I'm pretty sure this is DFW's way of saying that don't want to hire me. šŸ˜‚

I have lost all clout and trust.

PIP POLL:WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Well I have been offered a position at the midwestern airport. I will give you one more hint. This midwestern airport receives more than four million passengers a year but less than 30 million passengers a year.

Perhaps the airport is following my channel. :) I will NOT be telling you what they are offering but I will say it is similar to what I made in Tucson.

I have not yet heard back on Tucson.

And the third option is broadcast full time and an American Aviator tour from July to October all across America.

Sooo.....BooyaCacha gets his wish. The Pip Peeps get to vote on what I should do next.

Should I:

1. Take the position at the midwestern airport
2. Give it a go with the American Aviator broadcasting tour, streaming from over 30+airports over the next four months and try and build a business.
3. Or wait on Tucson

AND VOTE!!

WHY DID I LEAVE TUCSON? PLEASE READ BELOW TO FIND OUT

I get asked this a lot on why I have left Tucson and I'll get right to it explain.
1. I was an Airside Operations Officer with Tucson International Airport and left on good terms. I really enjoyed my job. I could have stayed. BUT, I commited a movement area violation. I self-reported that I entered a taxiway without ATC authorization. Because I did that, I was assessed a substantial points penalty on my record. It put me precariously near a suspension and so I would have had to be extremely careful for the next 18 months, as points disappear after 24 months from the date of the incident.

2. I had pondered leaving Tucson and this accident expedited that thought process. But, just when I was full on ready to leave TUS, a new opportunity in the communications and marketing department at the airport became available. For those who don't know, my bachelor's degree is in communications and this position could give me the opportunity to work inside in air conditioning sooo I applied for it, did an interview and am waiting to hear back.

So here we are now with three options currently on the table in different stages of development.

A. Waiting to hear back on an Airport Ops job in a midwestern city.
B. Waiting to hear back on the TUS job in community and media relations
C. Determining if my life needs to go a different path and/or build my channel and brand on a full-time basis.

And just because an offer for a position comes my waydoes not mean I automatically accept. It has to make sense to support my future but also make sense in a career and social aspect.

We will just see which one makes the best sense. Some of you know me as a risk taker and that is true. Perhaps I will Carpe Diem in another way.

And NOW YOU KNOW.

In the meantime, I will be broadcasting on a much more regular basis for at least the next couple of weeks. I hope you can tune in and bring a friend. There is nothing more that I want than the next couple of weeks to just have fun again, learn again and entertain again.

Come join me.

We will be broadcasting live Monday. I have decided to change the time to around 11 a.m. CDT/16z in case I get stuck in traffic.

Have a great Monday. May you be richly blessed this week as summer goes full swing on us towards the 4th of July.

WELL….HOW BOUT THAT….WE HAVE A SHOW SCHEDULED AND A HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Monday at 10 am CDT/15z.

I do see the possibility of storms in the forecast for DFW so we might have to move to our alternate airport of DAL. I am extremely grateful we have multiple airports here.

But for now we will plan on D-F-W.

Don’t forget to pre like šŸ‘ and hit the thumbs up button for the show.

I look forward to seeing you all.

Don’t forget that in the United States we celebrate Fathers Day Sunday so a very happy Father’s Day to all including Mi Padre.

Sincerely

NICE TO BE BACK.....SWEATING TO THE HEAVIES

BACK IN DFW. And since I drive right by Founders Plaza on the way home to Frisco, I did indeed make a brief pop-up broadcast for a few hours at DFW. It was GREAT to be back.

Thanks everyone who did stop by for the couple of hours.

Our next scheduled show will be Monday, June 22nd with time and location TBD.

It was a rough day weather wise in DFW, as I counted close to 100 diversions between DFW and DAL airports due to the weather.

Shout Out to Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City they get a shout out for handling 16 diversions by my count INCLUDING a 747-400 AND Finnair A350!

Fun stuff.

Thanks for the support. It's great to be back On the Air.

Sincerely,

The Pipster

THE HIATUS IS ALMOOOST OVER...PIP WILL BE BACK ON THE AIR!

I took a break from posting sketches of my favorite Tucson visitors as I had to pack up and get on the road.

I am back in the great state of Texas but not quite home. I should be arriving Friday afternoon and will look forward to being back in the metroplex.

No guarantees on a show for Friday, but possible. Saturday is certainly an option.

HOWEVER, come Monday June 21 it is full speed ahead while I wait for further info on my interviews.

Be prepared for minimum Monday, Wednesday and Friday nonstop broadcasting action(weather cooperating)

Unless something dramatic happens, expect to join me MONDAY for our first broadcast in over a month. I very much look forward to it.

Maybe United Stars and Stripes will divert...doubful, but a cool excuse nonetheless to share the cool design again.

Talk with y'all soon.

Sincerley,

IF YOU ARE FLYING TO OR FROM INDIANAPOLIS OR CHICAGO, CONSIDER THIS YOUR WARNING

See that giant hole with no airplanes? That is called the Circle of Delays in the aviation world. It's because of that circle that you have to fly around it....because those are thunderstorms. And thunderstorms and planes don't mix.

If you are traveling to Indianapolis, Chicago Midway or O'Hare....may God have mercy on your soul because Delays WILL happen and Diversions WILL happen.

Main chaos will occur between 19z and 02z.

This is your LAST CHANCE to change flight plans or buy snacks before you get stuck.

I predict 30 diversions at ORD, 36 diversions at MDW and 7 diversions at IND.

If you are a plane spotter, be on HIGH alert especially MKE, MSN, STL and MSP.

Carry on and back to regularly scheduled programming.

Oh...and my interviews went well yesterday. We will see.

I am also packing up.

Sincerely,

-The Pipster
