Hi everyone,

A few days ago we asked Sony to keep real, disc-based games alive beyond 2028. We aimed for 100,000 signatures. We hit that in just 4 days, and we've now passed 160,000.

More than 160,000 people have said the same thing: we want to own the games we pay for. That is no longer a petition. It's a movement, and you built it.

And it's working. The petition is now being covered by the biggest names in gaming, from IGN, Kotaku, Digital Foundry, and DoesItPlay.org, with many more picking it up every day. The bigger and louder we get, the harder this is for Sony and the wider industry to wave away. So we're not slowing down. Next stop: 250,000.

Two things that help most right now:

Keep sharing. You got us here by telling people. Keep going, every share reaches someone who hasn't heard yet.

Remember what this is about. In 2013, Sony told players they could "keep their games forever." Now they're taking that away. Vinyl, Blu-ray, and books all still let you own something real. Games shouldn't be the exception.

One last thing. This news dropped right before a long holiday weekend, exactly when a company hopes a story quietly disappears. The weekend's over now. Let's make sure this is the story they come back to this week, not the one they got away with. Keep it loud.

Did you know Sony aims to END physical discs starting january 2028? PROTEST against this to protect the right to own games -- and in extension; the right to own interactive stories -- to protect the game collector community and physical gaming media as a whole.
