Strategy, survival and the franchises that shaped them - with an honest opinion.
I'm Oehrchen, a quiet German guy (raised in Spain, re-imported home) who has spent way too many hours building bases, commanding armies and surviving on hostile planets.
On this channel you'll find:
- Opinion pieces & reviews on strategy, tactics and survival games - from Command & Conquer and Dawn of War to Stronghold and Dune
- First impressions of new releases, especially when a classic series returns
- Guides that solve real problems in the games I play
- The occasional Let's Play series for the community
No clickbait, no drama. Just real thoughts from someone who grew up with these games.

Took a small break from Dune to have a look at Star Wars Galactic Racer... Damn I have not touched racing games in a while and I really enjoy this.
Don't worry more Dune and more Tactics/RTS soon!

Does the Emperor in the Dune Universe have any power at all? Or is he being controlled.
The Bene Gesserit might be the most influential group in the universe.
Btw... Star Wars Galactic Racer later on my Twitch channel: twitch.tv/oehrchen

How-To or something more about factions and classes?
I am planning new content around Dune: Awakening for next week. Would you rather like to see a how-to on some game mechanics or rather more on lore and factions/classes?

What a hit in the nostalgia feels at Nintendos Zelda Direct yesterday, wasn't it?
I'm looking forward to relive Ocarina Of Time in its new design.
For me this release is something very special. How about you? Feel free to drop a comment under my video.

Question to you all as most YouTube Gurus tell me I should not stream on YouTube, when I stream on Twitch.
Would you like to see more streams on this channel? Streams would be mainly talks about gaming and games I usually don't cover in my videos.

New video before I head off to Gamescom. The Ocarina of Time Remake is coming and for some it is probably more important than we think.
Important question: What was your favorite temple and would you buy a special hardware release?

Gamescom 2026 is approaching!
For anyone wondering why there are no videos right now: I'm still on vacation and basically clearing my mind for new ideas. There's probably something coming in two weeks for Ocarina of Time.
Also on my radar is Gamescom 2026. It's that time of the year where once again some of the big titles get announced.
My question to you: Which announcement are you looking forward to?

This weekend was full of game trailers. Maybe a little too much :)
For me 1666: Amsterdam stood out and I never heard about this one before. Here's my opinion.
What do you think about this one?
