Potentially hot take here:

I feel like your opinion on an MSM island/monster isn't valid UNLESS you've collected the island/monster yourself.

It's so easy to just go on Youtube right after a monster/island releases and say "Wow this is great!" or "Wow, this sucks,"

And this leads to an almost unchangeable biased opinion you have towards the monster/island. You will forever love or hate them.

But when you go through the time and effort to collect it yourself, then you've earned the right to feel however you want about it.

When you watch a new update straight away on Youtube, you most of the time don't catch the whole thing, like when a whole new island releases for example.

I'll use Magical Nexus as an example. Since there's 32 monsters on the island, it's impossible to watch the island first thing and catch everything on the first watch, even 100 watches later there will still be stuff that you miss.

When you collect it yourself, you can experience the song growing before your eyes, and you get to hear each individual track from every individual monster you place down, and hear how different the song is with and without them.

Only then can you truly enjoy an MSM song with real bliss and joy, when you understand everyone's contribution, and know that the song would be so different with even just 1 missing monster.

This is just my personal opinion of course, everyone has their own opinion on this matter, this is just my perspective on it.

Ok, I have to get something off my mind.

I just got done watching MPG react to the constellations, and this is something I need to say.

People do not appreciate my Gaddzooksy boy as much as they should.

I am a little biased since he's my favorite ethereal, but I never see ANYONE giving Gaddzooks the credit he deserves. People always glaze Yoreek, Auglur, BeMeebEth, and a couple others. Not just on the constellations, but on EVERY ISLAND with the ethereals.

Gaddzooks genuinely carries every single island it's on (except maybe Mech Islet). Official or fanmade, you can always count on Gaddzooks for the universal percussion. Meanwhile, everyone shrugs him off and talks about the fan-favorite ethereals.

And so...

I am officially dubbing July 7th as Gaddzooks Appreciation Day. If you want to give our boy the credit he rightfully deserves, talk about Gaddzooks around that date, post Gaddzooks content, spread the word, and we can only hope that he gets recognition.

Oh yeah uh...

Happy 2nd channel anniversary!

I want to thank you all for the massive growth in subscribers this channel has had in the past year, puts such a big smile on my face knowing that there's people that enjoy my content :)

I am a little disappointed in myself in sense of number of uploads. In the first year, I uploaded 38 videos, and this year, I posted ELEVEN. Even with some of the first batch being individuals videos for Illusive Island, that's still quite a dip in number.

As much as I would like to say it's "quality over quantity," the truth is that that's not the case. There HAS been a gradual increase in quality, but there's no reason that I can't upload more often other than me prioritizing things that are less important. I want to get better at that this next year, and I hope I can continue to bring content you guys enjoy :)

Let's enjoy another year of MSM together!

Yeah, I know I haven't posted at all in recent months.

Luckily for you, I have a confirmed release date for the next video, sometime before the 3rd, since that's when the contest ends.

I hope I'll post an anniversary video sometime around the 8th as well since that'll be my 2 year anniversary on this channel. I'm tryna lock in and get my life back together (schedule wise)

I know it's not gonna happen, but I kinda hope there's no Paironormal quad. The existence of one just seems strange, Paironormal doubles and triples are fine, but a quad would be overkill for me I guess. But that would also mean that the song would have 14 monsters instead of the magic 15, so idk

I love the design and sound of this guy, he might become a new favorite of mine (which is very high praise coming from me. The last time a monster became my favorite was Gaddzooks, and before that was Cranchee).
