The 15th Batch of the 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭-𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐏𝐄𝐈𝐌-15), offered by the 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐃), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, was inaugurated with enthusiasm and a strong spirit of learning.
CPEIM-15 marks another step towards developing a stronger understanding of international trade, export-import procedures and the evolving global business environment.
🌏 𝐀 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 The 46-member cohort brings together young graduates, working professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners and experienced industry professionals, with diverse age profile, ranging from the youngest participant at 21 years to the oldest at 51 years, bringing together young graduates. The cohort also reflects gender diversity, with 8 female participants and 38 male participants, demonstrating EMPD's continued encouragement of wider participation and gender diversity while admitting participants to the CPEIM programme.
The professional profiles include experience with prominent organizations such as Microsoft India R&D, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, FedEx, Accenture, Google Pay India, Genpact, Asian Paints, SRF Limited, The Economic Times, Ipsos, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, and several other corporate organizations, SMEs and entrepreneurial ventures.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Prof. M. Venkatesan , Head, EMPD, the programme was subsequently briefed to the participants by Programme Director, Dr. Rithi S.R, who provided an overview of the programme structure, learning journey and the areas of Export-Import Management that participants will engage with during the programme.

भारतीय विदेश व्यापार संस्थान में हिंदी के प्रति रुचि बढ़ाने और राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से 14-30 सितंबर 2006 के दौरान हिंदी पखवाड़ा आयोजित किया गया। पखवाड़े के दौरान अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के लिए विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया, जिनमें सभी ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
हिंदी पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत प्रश्नोतरी प्रतियोगिता, निबंध लेखन, हिंदी टंकण तथा कथा-कहानी, कहो अपनी जुबानी प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। इन प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रतिभागियों ने अपनी भाषा संबंधी दक्षता, ज्ञान एवं रचनात्मकता का प्रदर्शन किया।
हिंदी पखवाड़े के समापन समारोह में विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार एवं प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किए गए। समारोह के दौरान संस्थान की हिंदी पत्रिका ‘यज्ञ’ के अंक-19 का विमोचन भी किया गया। यह अवसर संस्थान में हिंदी की रचनात्मक गतिविधियों को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण रहा।
समापन समारोह में सुमन आर्ट एंड कल्चर ग्रुप द्वारा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसमें विभिन्न राज्यों के लोकनृत्यों, देशभक्ति और अन्य सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से भारत की विविध संस्कृति और परंपराओं की सुंदर झलक देखने को मिली। इन प्रस्तुतियों ने समारोह को रोचक और जीवंत बना दिया।

Adding an academic perspective to the journey, Dr. Anchal Arora, Assistant Professor Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, accompanied the students through the various engagements, enriching their learning experience along the way.

A cohort of MBA (International Business) students from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), accompanied by Prof. Jayanta Kumar Seal, wrapped up an enriching three-day study tour to Indonesia from September 21–23.
A key highlight of the tour was an interactive session hosted by the Embassy of India, Jakarta on “𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬”. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, engaged with the students and shared insights into how diplomacy contributes to facilitating bilateral trade, building business linkages and strengthening India–Indonesia economic engagement.

The 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬 (𝐌𝐃𝐏) 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi has successfully commenced the 3-Day Management Development Programme on 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. at the IOCL premises.
The programme brings together a diverse cohort of mid- to senior-level officers from the Business Development function of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Iocl), providing them with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge, skills and strategic understanding of contemporary international trade negotiations.
The inaugural session commenced with an address by Prof. Dr. Rohit Mehtani, Head – MDP & CIN, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Delhi, who provided an overview of the programme, its learning objectives and the relevance of international trade negotiations in today’s rapidly evolving global business environment. He also highlighted the role of IIFT’s Management Development Programmes in strengthening professional capabilities and providing industry-oriented executive education to organisations across sectors.
Following this, Shri Gautam Datta Chief General Manager – HR & CPIO, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, addressed the participants and encouraged them to make the most of the programme by actively engaging in the sessions, sharing professional experiences and applying the learning to their respective roles and responsibilities.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) extends its sincere gratitude to the India in Sri Lanka (High Commission of India, Colombo) for meticulously coordinating and facilitating a series of insightful meetings and institutional visits for our students in Sri Lanka.

A cohort of MBA (International Business) students from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), accompanied by Prof. Jayanta Kumar Seal, wrapped up an enriching three-day study tour to Indonesia from September 21–23.
A key highlight of the tour was an interactive session hosted by the Embassy of India, Jakarta on “𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬”. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, engaged with the students and shared insights into how diplomacy contributes to facilitating bilateral trade, building business linkages and strengthening India–Indonesia economic engagement.

The 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬 (𝐌𝐃𝐏) 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi has successfully commenced the 3-Day Management Development Programme on 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. at the IOCL premises.
The programme brings together a diverse cohort of mid- to senior-level officers from the Business Development function of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Iocl), providing them with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge, skills and strategic understanding of contemporary international trade negotiations.
The inaugural session commenced with an address by Prof. Dr. Rohit Mehtani, Head – MDP & CIN, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Delhi, who provided an overview of the programme, its learning objectives and the relevance of international trade negotiations in today’s rapidly evolving global business environment. He also highlighted the role of IIFT’s Management Development Programmes in strengthening professional capabilities and providing industry-oriented executive education to organisations across sectors.
Following this, Shri Gautam Datta Chief General Manager – HR & CPIO, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, addressed the participants and encouraged them to make the most of the programme by actively engaging in the sessions, sharing professional experiences and applying the learning to their respective roles and responsibilities.
The programme is designed to provide participants with valuable insights into the strategic, commercial and practical dimensions of international trade negotiations, enabling them to better understand the complexities of global trade and effectively navigate an increasingly interconnected business environment.
