Today is tax day in the US, the anniversary of the RMS Titanic sinking & it's been three years since the Sudanese Civil War hit.
In these hours of war & peace, some of us are in overdrive & deep in the dim, unable to see sunbeams at the tunnel's end.
Our cortisol & adrenaline feel out of sync with the rhythms of nature. We desire reprieve from the minefields of grifters, hoarders, G.I. Joes disregarding the equilibrium of life on Earth.
Even if we are missing the news, bargain shopping, far from the battlefields, a part of us attunes to these days of overt deceit & demolition. Just as a part of us catches moments of beauty, unexpected gifts, smiles from passersby.
In the middle, the pathway forks. Which way will we go, more so?
Fate can be fierce & acceptance fortifying. But a part of the mosaic of being human is also free will.
We may see the world as it is & at once as we choose to see it.
Deep in empathy, courageous in expressing, but also electing to perceive the miracles & magic arising all around.

We mention narcissism & sociopathy in regards to some of our US leaders today. The 3rd prong of the dark triad mindset is Machiavellianism, an “ends justifies the means” philosophy & counter to triple bottom line / conscious capitalism views. I worked in Cochise Stronghold in SE Arizona, US, 3 times & for about 3 weeks each time. Formidable rock formations & a tiny bit of water within a vast desert, primed Cochise for protection in bellicose days.
I read & reread an oral history of the Chiricahua Apaches in those Cochise days. Taught on what I learned.
While peace is my jam, I admired the spirit-bodied warriors of that band & era of Apaches & the way they stood up to the aggressive powers. David & Goliath plus.
Similarly I admire the peaceful warrior ship I’ve learned by way of Shambhala training, which is in the family of Buddhist philosophy & given through a man who lead many from Tibet as the Chinese invaded.
Brings me to wonder, what might happen if our current American executive lifted-up dignity & enthusiastic compassion within our human differences?
Imagining it into being, kneading impossible notions to rise.
The peaceful warrior training also reminds me of the is-ness of this moment & how all things must pass, but also hidden treasures await, even as the house falls.

Shawn Harris, a rancher in Georgia performed like nobody’s business in the race for Marjorie Taylor Green’s seat; winning 46% of the vote, then conceding in a dignified & warm manner. While he doesn’t have the office now, Harris’ leadership & example have galvanized something; something old & new, something bright & blue - movement upon a ruby red patch of mama earth.

I’m picturing how I’d feel if Putin or Xi Jinping said that they were going to destroy a population of 12+ million in America.
Surely I’d hold mine close & wish for a bluff, a glitch, or if all came to pass - an aware passing.
I’m bereft of pride, ashamed of being an American.
I know my spark of light doesn’t fade.
Just as yours remains, as does the divinity of the Iranians & all their neighbors, visitors & military personnel wondering if these hours will be their last.
As a kid I saw “The Day After” & followed Reagan & Gorbachev’s deterrent duet - 2 Cold War leaders in a room full of dynamite, accumulating match books.
As a kid I was pretty freaked out.
We’ve a remarkable planet & as a species we can move mountains, speak poems, care for other species with big love.
We’ve already crossed the Rubicon & if a broad attack on civilian infrastructure happens in Iran, all citizens of planet Earth are less safe.
Violence begets violence & I long for peace.
May the military not obey illegal orders, may the 25th Amendment deploy, may the ecosystems world wide receive reprieve from the madness.
May all beings in all worlds know peace, peace, perfect peace.

April 6th is a Hidden 11 day, which might translate to a door opening. Keep a look out, as said door may surprise you.
We are also in the vibe of a Moon day. How apropos as 4 astronauts’ orbit the far side of Luna & further than humans have ever been from Earth.
In looking at the astrological transits today, I saw support for us to move the needle on our dreams.
Luna in Sagittarius may well walk alongside us as we imagine, while the frequency of magenta blue provides ease in our process.
